Awards and prize competitions

Awards combine what is usually kept separate: self-applications, nominations by third parties, an expert jury across several rounds and often a public vote. Every edition brings new categories and terms of entry — and the jury works remotely, with its own deadline per round.

Without a shared platform that means nomination lists in spreadsheets, scoring sheets as PDFs and points added up by hand — and every year it gets tight just before the ceremony.
