Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This is a translation for convenience. The official and binding version of this privacy policy is the German version.
Introduction
In the following privacy policy we explain which personal data we collect and process when you visit our website. By accessing the Reviu website (the «website») you agree to this privacy policy. We collect and process your personal data carefully, only for the purposes described in this privacy policy, only to the extent required for those purposes and within the framework of the applicable legal provisions. We store your personal data only as far and as long as this is necessary or required by law. If you have any questions, please send us an email at mail@visiblesolutions.ch.
This privacy policy applies to the website reviu.io. For the use of the Reviu platform by clients, the respective main agreement and the data processing agreement apply in addition.
Changes
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy in response to changes to the website or to the laws applicable to us and to you. We will inform you by updating the date under «Last updated» at the top of this page. By accessing the website you agree to the most recent version of the privacy policy.
No cookies, no tracking services
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. No third-party content is loaded either: fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served exclusively from our own server. As a result, no data is transmitted to third parties when you visit the website, and no cookie consent is required.
A technically necessary cookie is set exclusively in the password-protected editorial area when an authorised person signs in there. That area is not relevant for visitors to the public website.
Log data
When the website is accessed, the web server automatically records access data in server log files, as is technically necessary to operate a website. This data typically includes the IP address of your device, the date and time of access, the page requested, the browser type transmitted and any error messages. It serves the secure and stable operation of the website, error diagnosis and the prevention of misuse. It is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short period.
Data you provide
By using the website you declare that you are responsible for all data you actively provide and that you have the right and permission to provide it. The data you provide to us via the contact form or by email may include:
- Name
- Name of the organisation
- Email address
- Text or any other content you send us
Contact form
The website contains a contact form with the fields name, email address, organisation (optional) and message. The data you enter is used exclusively to process and answer your enquiry. It is transmitted to us by email and is not stored permanently on the web server. To protect against misuse, the number of submissions per IP address is limited over time; for this purpose the IP address is stored briefly on the server and then discarded automatically.
Use of data
We collect, store, process and use data for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain and provide the website and its content.
- To improve the quality of the website in order to enable efficient access and use.
- To demonstrate the functionality of our products and services.
- To maintain the security of the website; to prevent or investigate misuse, unauthorised access or illegal activities.
- To comply with applicable law.
- To contact and communicate with you, for example to send you offers, information or material about our products and services.
Personal information and other data are not processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes.
Consent and rights
If you provide us with your personal data, you agree that we may use this data in accordance with this privacy policy. If you provide us with personal data of other data subjects, you must ensure that all data subjects have consented to the collection and use of their data in accordance with this privacy policy. This consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us. You as a data subject, and other data subjects, have extensive rights regarding your data. These include:
- The right of access
- The right to rectification
- The right to erasure
- The right to restriction of processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to object
- The right to lodge a complaint
You can exercise your rights or obtain further information and support by contacting us at mail@visiblesolutions.ch. Exercising these rights generally requires that you clearly prove your identity (for example by providing a copy of your identity document if your identity is otherwise unclear or cannot be verified).
Data processors
We work with selected data processors to operate this website. We only engage data processors that maintain high standards of data security and data protection. Detailed descriptions of the data processors, their terms of use, privacy policies and further information can be found on the respective processor's website. The following data processor is used to operate this website:
- Hostpoint AG (hosting of the website and email delivery, Switzerland)
Separate rules apply to the Reviu platform itself; these are set out in the respective data processing agreement. The platform's software and client data are hosted in an ISO 27001-certified data centre in Switzerland.
Transfers and place of processing
Your data is not passed on or otherwise transmitted to third parties unless this is necessary for the purposes described or to fulfil our legal obligations. The data we collect is processed in Switzerland or at other locations where our data processors, affiliated companies and third-party providers maintain facilities. By providing us with personal data you agree to its transfer to and processing at these locations. We ensure that any transfer of personal data is protected by appropriate safeguards, for example by using standard contractual clauses, applying binding corporate rules or other legally recognised means.
Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. We protect ourselves against common digital and physical attacks, host data in secure data centres and use access restrictions on servers to secure the network and protect your information. Data is always encrypted in transit and is backed up regularly to prevent data loss. Despite our efforts, you acknowledge that no method of electronic transmission and storage is entirely secure and that we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data stored on or transmitted through our website.
Data retention
Data is stored for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. You may, however, request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
